Climate Advocacy

I am Cupertino lead of a youth-led nonprofit organization Silicon Valley Youth Climate Action.

We regularly engages over fifty members in advocating for climate action education and policy initiatives.

I received commendation from California State Senator Dave Cortese for working with a team to create a two-hour climate advisory video for the Fremont Union School District to educate 10,000+ students on climate science and civic education.

Policy Education

I planned and moderated 2022 Cupertino City Council candidate forum centered around climate policies.

Given public health concerns, the session was conducted over Zoom. The recordings can be viewed here.

Sustainability Champion

We received CREST (Cupertino Recognizes Extra Steps Taken) award in category “Sustainability Champion”. We also received commendation from Congressman Ro Khanna for advocacy that led to the passage of the Cupertino Climate Action Plan.
